Wesley Leo Crawford, Jr., age 77, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in West Monroe, Louisiana.

Born on May 28, 1947, in West Monroe, Wesley was a proud U.S. Army veteran and a retired truck driver who found great joy in traveling. He was a member of Antioch Community Church.  A true outdoorsman, he especially loved fishing and embraced life with a bold spirit. More than anything, Wesley cherished time spent with his family, creating memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Leo Crawford, Sr.; his mother, Hazel Warren Crawford; his brother, Jerry Crawford; and his stepfather, Calvin Perrit.

Left to honor his memory is his loving wife, Sue Crawford; his three sons, Wesley Crawford III (Melanie), Kevin Crawford (Minnie), and Matthew Crawford (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kandi Crawford (Faith), Ashley Britt (Cole), Lydia Crawford, Paige Pullig (Martin), Kenton Lee Crawford (Val), Christopher Nick, Matthew Crawford, and Derrik Crawford; and his great-grandchildren, Maura and Kage Pullig.

Visitation will be held at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, from 1:00 PM until time of service. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Hayward Hossler and Rev. Richard Harmon officiating. Interment will follow in Sanders Chapel Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Jordan, Kenton Lee Crawford, Martin Pullig, Cole Britt, Christopher Nick, and Alex Sharp. Honorable pallbearers include Al Sharp and Stephen Sharp.
