Vikkie Lynn (VanHoozen) LaFollette, age 54 of Joyce, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Sunday, December 19, 2021.

She was born to the union of Junior Murrell and Glenna Voncille (Skeans) VanHoozen on Wednesday, January 25, 1967 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  She worked at Super Value in Jena as the Video Manager. Then as secretary for the Dugdemona Soil and Water Conservation Office in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Vikkie is preceded in death by her father, a brother, Danny Joe VanHoozen and step-father, Hank Brown.

Those left to love and miss her, her husband of 26 years William "Buddy" LaFollette, Jr., her mother Glenna V. Brown, of Nebo, a daughter, Rebecca Leigh Harry & husband Joshua of Lafayette, a son Logan LaFollette of Joyce, a brother Michael Scott VanHoozen & wife Wendy, Holum, and a granddaughter, Everleigh C. LaFollette, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens with the Rev. Mark Breland officiating. Interment will follow in Nebo Cemetery, Nebo, Louisiana.
