Ms. Vanessa Renee Reeves, age 39 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Born Wednesday, July 13, 1983 in Alexandria, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Paul Reeves; and her grandfather, David Shelton.

Those left to cherish her memory include her: mother, Tina Shelton Williford; her father, David Reeves; her step-father, Cole Williford; her brother, Chad Reeves; her step-sister, Carly Williford; her grandmother, Barbara Shelton; her aunts, Cindy Shelton Cook, Pam Latham, and Sandy Davis; her cousins, Chris Cook (Keri), Adam Cook (Amanda), Rachel Short (Eric), Jared, Jennifer and Joshua Reeves, Sam, Doug and DeAnn Reeves, and B.J. Davis (Sandra); and her faithful furry friends, Chico and Petunia.

Vanessa loved animals and her family and friends. She was a beautiful young lady and her Faith in God was strong. She attended Atlanta High School where she was a cheerleader and was crowned Miss A.H.S 2000. She graduated from Winnfield Senior High School and was crowned Miss Winn Parish in 2001.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 20, 2023, in Brown Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
