Vanessa Lane Foster Graves, age 49 of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. She was born on Tuesday, October 31, 1972 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Vanessa was a caring daughter, loving wife, and an amazing mother. She loved spending time with her family and friends. If you knew her, she always had a smile on her face. She was the most beautiful soul that has touched many people. If she was not at home, she was following her kids around o any and every ballpark there was. She loved football, basketball, baseball, and softball. Vanessa very much enjoyed accessorizing with her makeup and jewelry. You can catch her on Facebook Live doing makeup tutorials or selling her paparazzi jewelry with her sister. She was loved by all, and will be dearly missed by so many.

Vanessa is preceded in death by her mother Maxcine Smith Foster; maternal grandparents William Harold Foster, Jr. and Mary Hudson Foster; paternal grandparents Kenneth Smith, Sr. and Mackey Marinos Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Jason Graves,of Montgomery, LA; daughter Laryn Graves, of Montgomery, LA; son Logan Graves, of Montgomery, LA; father, Ralph Foster (Sharon); sister, Amanda Jones, of Pineville, LA.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 3, 2022, at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Montgomery from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 3, 2022 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with Father John Brocatto and Father Blake Deshotel officiating. Interment will follow in French Cemetery in Verda.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kason Lashley, Mason Deen, Drew Zito, Derrien O'Conn, Joe Cochran, and Stephen Bruce. Honorary pallbearers will be Connor Grigg, and Tanner Grigg.
