Valerie "Polly" Annette (Keen) Cockerham, age 82 of the Searcy Community, of Trout, Louisiana passed from this life on Monday, January 29, 2024.

She was born to the union of Alvin "Snow" Hansford Keen and Rhoda Modelle (Sanders) Keen on Thursday, January 22, 1942, in Winnfield, Louisiana.

Polly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David "Lamar" Cockerham of 51 years, and three sisters Merle Cook, Charlene Pentecost, and Doris Domingue.

Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters Valerie Harville, Tracey Cockerham, and Jennifer Long, all of the Searcy Community, two granddaughters Kaitlyn Harville, and Baily Long, two grandsons Joshua "Josh" Harville and Zachary "Zac" Long.

The family will receive friends at Kinner & Stevens on Wednesday morning January 31, 2024, from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Graveside Services will be held in the Chalk Hill Cemetery of the Little Creek Community at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, with Rev. Steve Jensen officiating.  Mrs. Polly will be laid to rest next to Mr. Lamar Cockerham under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are Roger Whatley, Joey McCann, George Boyd, Bradley McDowell, Ethan McCann and Dwan Stringer.
