Tyler Sean Mitchell, passed from this life tragically and suddenly on Tuesday August 03, 2021. Tyler was born to the union of Trevor Mitchell and Bridget Cotton in Ferriday, LA on July 01, 1992. Tyler was a country boy through and through, he believed in Jesus, family and country music. He loved his family and spending time with them. He worked as a corrections officer at Catahoula Correctional Center, was a fisherman for Larry Hines, and worked for Kendall Tree Service. He was a hard-working man and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Bobby Cotton.

Tyler was survived by his father Trevor Mitchell and step mother Christy King, mother Bridgette Cotton. Grandparents Toby and Connie Mitchell, and Irene Cotton. One sister Cortney Mitchell, one step sister Kayla Leavines, aunt and uncles, Darrell and Missy Proffers, James and Caprice White, and Bobby and Jenny Sharbano. Nieces and nephews Keely-Ray, Autumn, Jay, and Aaron Williamson. Cousins Cassie, T.J., Jodie, Devin, Krystian, Patrick and Hunter.

Visitation will be on Thursday August 5, 2021, at the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens, from 5PM-9PM. Funeral service will be on Friday morning August 6, 2021, also at Kinner & Stevens. Graveside will follow the service, at Belah Cemetery in Trout, LA. Rev. Carl Gulde will officiate.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are, James White, Devin White, Brent Addis, Bobby Sharbano, Tyler Funk and Darrell Proffer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaime Williamson and Larry Hines.
