Mrs.Toy Lee Melton, age 88 of Georgetown, Louisiana passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 in Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield. Mrs. Melton spent her working career as a sales clerk in a local department store, and lovingly took care of her husband as a homemaker.

Born Wednesday, June 14, 1933 in Emerson, Arkansas, she was preceded in death by her husband, L. M. Melton; her parents, John O and Etoile Campbell Haynes; one sister, Doris Haynes Sikes.

Those left to cherish her memory include her niece Ezola Barrett (Melt), Houma, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Southern Funeral Home, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, time of services at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Prince officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Chapel Cemetery, in Williana.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be William Barrett, Augie Barrett, Brandon Small, Matt Keller, Jason Williams, and Bain Bannon.
