Tommy Dell Hollis, 70, of Georgetown, LA, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

Born on March 25, 1954, Tommy lived a life of faith, love, and service. A devoted Baptist minister, he dedicated his life to sharing God's word and guiding others in their spiritual journeys. Beyond his ministry, Tommy had a deep love for the outdoors. He found joy in gardening, fishing, coon hunting, and spending countless peaceful moments in nature—especially mowing his yard. He also had a passion for travel, always eager to explore new places, make lasting memories, and spend time with his family.

Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Shearer Greer Hollis; his daughters LaNee' Biggs (Josh Daniels), Stephanie Barnhill (Chris Barnhill), and Michelle Sanders (Skipper Sanders); his grandchildren Kyle Barnhill (Blair Barnhill), Kelsey Barnhill (Hunter Estis), Garrett Biggs (Tyler Biggs), Maggie Benoit (Derrick Benoit), Trip Sanders, Brantley Sanders, Cooper Sanders, Zane Biggs, and Bella Daniels; and his great-grandchildren Pierre Benoit, Vivienne Biggs, Hollis Kay Barnhill, and Ellis Biggs. He is also survived by his sister Mary Burge and his sister-in-law Janice Brister (Mike Brister).

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Eva Hollis, his brothers, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Aaron & Minetta Greer.

A service to honor Tommy's life will be held at Georgetown Baptist Church on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:00AM. The service will be officiated by Rev. Lamar Carpenter, Rev. Mark Breland, and Rev. Ricky Gresham. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the incredible legacy he leaves behind.
