Thomas Willard Sharbono of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, Louisiana with Rev. Bruce Weatherford officiating. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM until service time. He will be buried at French Cemetery in Verda, Louisiana.

Willard was born on October 20, 1957 in Winnfield, Louisiana to Ted and Leona Sharbono of Montgomery, Louisiana. He grew up in Montgomery and spent his entire life there surrounded by family, friends, and the outdoors he loved so much.
Willard worked as a carpenter and was known for his love of hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time outdoors doing the things that brought him peace and happiness. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his love for his family, and the many memories he created with those who knew him.

He is survived by his spouse, Mandy Dubois, and their son, Matthew Sharbono; his daughter, Lexie Twigg of Tolar, Texas, and her sons, Tripp and Nathan; and his daughter, Tara Lynch and husband David of Granbury, Texas, and their sons, Tyler, Austin, Brenham, and Luke.

He is also survived by his brothers, Ted Sharbono, Jr. (Charlotte), Eugene Sharbono, and Jimbo Sharbono (Nettie); his sisters, Anita DeSoto (Rickey) and Mabel Woods (Mike); along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Leona Sharbono, and his brother, Steve Sharbono.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Matthew Sharbono, Tripp Mayo, Michael Woods, Brenham Liebel, Austin McGowan, David Lynch, Ronnie Stroud and Sheldon Dubois.
Memorial contributions may be made to French Cemetery.
