Mr. Thomas Edward "Junior" Evans, Jr., age 37 of Atlanta, Louisiana passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Born Saturday, February 1, 1986 in Shreveport, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward Evans, Sr.; and sister, Crystal Evans,

Junior was a member of The Family Church in Winnfield, and also attended Hargis Baptist Church in Montgomery. He was a crane operator, working in offshore construction. Junior loved fishing, hunting and spending time with his children.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Violet Nation Bryant and step-father Larry-Kelvin Bryant; grandparents, Billy Joe and Sue Nation, Velma Cox, and Nelda Bryant; children, Macey Evans, Breah Bishop, and Kingsleigh Evans; 8 half siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Hargis Baptist Church, from noon until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Hargis Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Tilton officiating, under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
