Thelma L. Bumpurs, age 82 of Jonesville, Louisiana, was received into Heaven on Monday, July 4, 2022.

She was born to the union of Ernest Lee and Tibatha Almedia (Wood) Evans on Friday, February 9, 1940, in Epps, Louisiana.

Mrs. Bumpurs was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carlos Bumpurs, a son Michael Joe Mason, a brother Walter Evans, and two sisters Annette Brandenburg and Dorothy Cain,

Those left to love and miss her are two sons Ronnie Mason & wife Nell, of Jonesville, Roger Mason & wife Jennifer, of Jonesville, a daughter Brenda Baldwin of Jonesville, a brother Jerry Evans & wife Reba of Jena, two sisters Elaine Smith of Gilbert, and Tina Mae Yantis, of Texas, eight (8) grandchildren, and eighteen (18) great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the Heard Cemetery with Rev. Joel Ford officiating.

The family wishes to say Thank you to Tommy Mason and Donnie Mason for being not just family but lifelong friends.

The family respectfully request that in Lieu of Flowers that a donation in Mrs. Thelma's name be given out as she would have wanted "WITH LOVE".
