Theda Mae Baker, 81 of Winnfield, Louisiana died on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Cornerstone Rehabilitation Hospital in West Monroe, Louisiana.

She was born Sunday, October 13, 1940 in Winnfield, Louisiana to the union of the late Nathan Chandler and the late Lillian Sullivan Chandler.

Mrs. Baker spent her working career as a title clerk at several different car dealerships including P.K. Smith of Winnfield. She was a graduate of Calvin High School and a devoted member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Her greatest hobby was tending to her flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents Nathan F. and Lillian Sullivan Chandler; siblings, Lonnie Chandler, Cortez Chandler, and Jeanez Mieske.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Tracy Ainley (Robin); sister, Inez Cayle (Charles); grandchildren, Victoria Erwin, Sheena Smith, and Rebecca Ainley; great grandchildren, Emma and Alex Erwin, Caylin Cumbie, Dawsyn Pardon, Harper Ainley, Cypress Ainley; numerous nieces & nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, 202 E. Lafayette St., Winnfield, Louisiana.

A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Bethlehem Baptist Church with the Rev. Dick DeBusk and Rev. Charles Malone officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery, Calvin, LA.
