Terry Vernon Varnell, age 73 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Louisiana with his family by his side. Terry was a graduate of Radford High School, Honolulu, Hawaii; attended LSU of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and was in the United States Airforce. He had a huge love for music and football. If he wasn't wearing something that showed his love for Pink Floyd, he was most definitely wearing some LSU gear, "Go Tigers"!

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Talamdge "Pete" Varnell and Doris Maxey Varnell.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his children, Sarah Varnell of Louisiana and Timothy Varnell and wife Shawna of Texas; numerous grandchildren; his siters, Beverly Varnell Jones, and Sandra Gail Varnell of Florida; his niece, Melissa Jones Grant of Virginia; and many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

The family will reiceve friends at Southern Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. Graveside services and inurnment will be held in the Winnfield City Cemetery of Winnfield, Louisiana immediately following visitation.
