Mr. Terence Lynn Musgrove, Jr., age 53, of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025, in Winnfield. He was born on Tuesday, February 1, 1972, in Bastrop, Louisiana.

Terence was a skilled carpenter who took pride in his craft and found joy in working with his hands. He was known for his easygoing nature, quick wit, and the quiet wisdom that led many to think of him as an old soul. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—spending time outdoors fishing or deer hunting, watching westerns, keeping up with the weather, and cheering on his beloved New Orleans Saints. Above all, he loved his family deeply and treasured every moment spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Terence Lynn Musgrove, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Montgomery Musgrove; and a sister, Barbara Musgrove.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Tessa Ahlwardt Musgrove of Winnfield; children, Brelynn Musgrove (Landon), Trentin Musgrove (Madison), Gavin Musgrove (Kensley), and Hallie Musgrove; grandchildren, River, Rory, and one on the way; sisters, Sheryl Crenshaw and Mary Brantley; as well as Lathan Snowden, Ethan Boone, Jaycen Williams, Anthony Runston, Grady Foshee, Landon Walker, and Honorary pallbearers will be Kenny Blake and Chris Roberson, all of whom held special places in his life.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield with uncle Mike Chain officiating. Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.  Interment will follow at Bolton-Teagle Cemetery. All family and friends are welcome and encouraged to attend the Celebration of Life after burial to be held at Goldonna Baptist Church, 287 Ash Street, Goldonna, Louisiana.
