Mr. Teddie Wayne Garner, age 72 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024 in his residence surrounded by his family.

Born Monday, October 8, 1951 in Olla, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Doris Calendar Garner; and one sister, Virginia Garner Parker. He spent his life in the Olla Winnfield area. He retired as a logger, and was an avid hunter, as well as having a deep love for woodworking.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Liz Parker Garner; children, Debra Jordan (Bubba), Rebecca Jordan (B.J.); grandchildren, Dustin, Tyler, Tracy, Selena, Amber, Aaron, and Noah;  several great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Roshto (Greg), Wanda McDaniel (Ricky), Rickey Garner (Jamie);
as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield from 12:00PM until 2:00PM.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00PM in the chapel of the funeral Home with Rev. Author Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Old Union Cemetery, in Joyce.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Dustin Funk, Tyler Funk, Aaron Jordan, Noah Jordan, Kade Womack, Dalton Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Wells, Klint Womack, and Cody Powell.
