UPDATE:  Friends may visit with the family at South Winnfield Baptist Church on September 2, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., with the memorial service to follow at 10:00 a.m.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City.

Ted Hans Wold of Winnfield, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at the age of 85. A proud patriot, devoted family man, accomplished inventor, and loyal friend, Ted lived a life defined by integrity, hard work, innovation, and an unwavering love for his family and country.

Born on May 16, 1941, Ted was the son of Osmond Wold and Frances Larsen. He was preceded in death by his father, Osmond Wold; his mother, Frances Larsen; and the love of his life, his beloved wife, Mimi Wold. Together, Ted and Mimi built a family rooted in love, perseverance, and strong values that continue to inspire future generations.

Ted is survived by his three sons: Todd Wold and his wife, Shelley, of Big Horn, Wyoming; Troy Wold and his wife, Janeana, of West Monroe, Louisiana, and their son, Parker Wold, of Monroe, Louisiana; and Tracy Wold and his wife, Melissa, of Jena, Louisiana. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his guidance, quiet wisdom, and steadfast example of living with honor and purpose.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
