Sue Carolyn (Hicks) Robertson, age 88 of Jena, Louisiana, was received into Heaven on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

She was born to the union of Delaney Wesley and Mattie Thelma (Hodge) Hicks on Monday, March 4, 1935, in Point, Louisiana. Mrs. Sue was a member of East Jena Baptist Church.

Mrs. Sue was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Donald Davis Robertson, her parents, five (5) sisters Estelle Antley, Ezelle Bottoms, Arzelle Banks, Evelyn Nolan, Betty Dollar, and two brothers Earl Hicks, Charles Hicks.

Those left to love and miss her are three (3) sons Donny Robertson & wife Kathy, of Jena, Kenny Robertson & wife Wendy, of Jena, and Tim Robertson, of Jena, a sister Ann Sheffield, of Cartersville, GA, three (3) grandsons Brandon Robertson, Ryan Robertson, Jock Robertson, five (5) granddaughters Katie Balfa, Sue Ann Humphries, DeLainey Mayo, Brooke Barker, Destiny Otwell, twenty-one (21) great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 13, 2023, at East Jena Baptist Church, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at East Jena Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Nolan and Rev. Mike Wilkinson officiating. Mrs. Sue will be laid to rest in the Hair Cemetery, under the directions of Kinner & Stevens.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers grandsons Brandon Robertson, Ryan Robertson, Jock Robertson, great grandsons Austin Baker, Zack Baker, and Sean Humphries.

Honorary pallbearers are grandsons in law Todd Balfa, Ryan Mayo, Paul Barker, and John Otwell.
