Stylen D. Wise, age 22, of Calvin, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Born on Monday, January 6, 2003, in Natchitoches, Louisiana,   Stylen was known for his infectious laughter, easygoing nature, and deep love of the outdoors. Whether he was hunting or fishing along the waters of Saline Lake or simply riding the backroads with his Aunt Jennifer, Stylen found joy in the simple things and had a gift for bringing that joy to others.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Benda Wood Hanson.

Left to cherish his memory are his father, Jacob Shirley Wise, and his mother, Wendy Johnson; his paternal grandparents, Billy Wise, Noe Espinoza, and Theresa Bartley; and his maternal grandfather, Roy Johnson. He is also survived by his sisters, Rachel Williams, Monica Liles, Alexis Wise and Braylee Shirley; his brothers, Thomas Justin Wise, Jalen Wise, and Freddy Orr. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends mourn his passing and celebrate his life.

Stylen had a way of making people laugh, of making them feel like they belonged. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his memory will continue to echo in the woods, on the water, and in the hearts of all who loved him.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 9, 2025 in the Chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.  Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 p.m. Noon until time of services.
