Mr. Steve Gregory Sharbono, age 58 of Montgomery, Louisiana passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022.

Born Monday, February 10, 1964 in Alexandria, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Leona Dubois Sharbono and Theodore Roosevelt Sharbono.

Mr. Sharbono attended Fairfield Baptist Church. He worked as a crane operator and log truck driver.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Vickie Blood Sharbono; children, Jason, Jody, Joseph, and Tessa Gauthier; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; brothers, Teddy, Eugene "Gene", James "Jimbo", and Willard Sharbono; sisters, Anita Desoto and Mable Woods; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and again on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Weatherford officiating. Interment will follow in French Cemetery, near Verda.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Gage Gauthier, Kyle Birdsall, Jimbo Sharbono, Josh Sharbono, Teddy Sharbono, Mikey Woods, Joseph Lang, and Patrick Howell.  Honorary pallbearers will be Cain Burnaman, James-Michael Gauthier, Dean Weatherford, and Josh Ross, Jr.
