Stacy Dwayne Cockerham

Stacy Dwayne Cockerham, 59, passed away peacefully after a short battle with end-stage renal failure and cardiac disease.

Stacy lived his life on his own terms and was never afraid to do things his way. He spent the majority of his life as a truck driver, a career that took him many miles and became a defining part of his life. Those who knew Stacy knew he had a strong spirit, a unique personality, and a way of doing things that was entirely his own.

Though his time with us was cut short, Stacy leaves behind a legacy of memories that will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Paige Cockerham; son-in-law, Austin Furlow; and his beloved grandchildren, Kaiden Furlow and Kensley Furlow.

Stacy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleo and Eb Sanders, and his parents, Richard Cockerham and Martha Fletcher.

He will be reunited in Heaven with those who went before him, while those he leaves behind will carry his memory with them forever.

Stacy lived his life his way, and in the end, he left this world just as he lived in it — on his own terms.

May he finally rest peacefully, free from pain and surrounded by the loved ones who welcomed him home.
