Shirley (Caskey) Martin of Jonesboro, Louisiana passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023 at her residence.  She was 78 years old.  Shirley was a secretary for the Special Education Department of the Jackson Parish School Board for eighteen years.  She loved flowers and liked to fish whenever she could.  Shirley loved to cook and enjoyed canning and preserving fruits and vegetables.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Paul C. Martin; children, Sheila Huddleston and David Huddleston and his wife, Marcie; grandsons, Matthew Huddleston and Nicholas Rowell; sisters Rose Causey and Betty Moody; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Martha Caskey.

As per her wishes, Shirley will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held.
