Shirley Ann (Gaspard) Bolin, age 79 of Jena, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

She was born to the union of Clarence Mayo Gaspard and Maggie Inez (White) Gaspard on Sunday, October 15, 1944, in Ferriday, Louisiana,

Shirley was a homemaker, a dental assistant, and her greatest love was being a mother and a Pastors' wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years, Rev. Gene Timothy Bolin, and three (3) brothers James Gaspard, David Gaspard, and Cecil Gaspard,

Those left to love and miss her dearly are two daughters Samantha Clagg & husband Sherman, of Pollock, LA, and Christina Palmer & husband Daniel, of Appling, GA, two sons Teddy Bolin & wife Michelle, of Layton, UT, and Mark Bolin & wife Colleen, of Georgetown, TX, a sister Bertha (Gaspard) Gallup, of Monterey, LA, a sister-in-law - Marlene Gaspard, Jonesville, LA, thirteen (13) grandchildren, and six (6) great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 24, 2024, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 24, 2024, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Jimmy Rowland officiating. Shirley will be laid to rest privately next to her husband in the Heard Cemetery of Manifest, LA, under the directions of Kinner & Stevens.
