Mrs. Sarah Frances Skains Woods, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Born on December 27, 1937, in Winnfield, Louisiana, Sarah lived a life full of love, grace, and devotion to her family and community. She resided in Jonesboro, Louisiana, where her heart was always with her family.

Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Eugene Skains and Fannie Skains, her brother Dale Skains, and her daughter Vicki Haskins.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Jo and Mike Strong of Shreveport, LA, and Toni and Bill Brown of Haughton, LA; cherished grandchildren, Nikki Allen and Bridget Gibbs, both of Haughton, LA; and her adored great-grandchildren, Jayden Allen and Julia Allen of Haughton, LA.

A graveside service will be held at Zion Cemetery on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with Ronnie Skains officiating. Mrs. Sarah Frances Skains Woods will be laid to rest at Zion Cemetery.
