Sandra Dean Knight DeFreese, 71 of Jena, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at her home in Jena, Louisiana.
Born Tuesday, June 27, 1950, she was the daughter of the late James Knight and the late Lottie Sanderson Knight.

She spent her career as a medical transcriptionist in the nursing home setting. She loved and enjoyed the time spent with family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Charles (Yancy) Robertson of Eudora, AR, two daughters, Teresa King and husband Joey, and Lisa Robertson of Jena,one sister, Becky Colvin and husband Philip of Arkansas, her grandchildren DaKota King, Brandi Falcon, Christopher Dupre, Billy Faull, and three great grandchildren.

Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Anita Michelle Cook, and grandson Waylon King.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Joey King, Paul Robertson, Scottie Williams, Mike Navaro, Jody Robertson, and Josh Edmondson. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Robertson and Todd Robertson.

Visitation and services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 in the chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena, Louisiana with visitation beginning at 10:00AM and concluding with funeral services at 2:00PM with Rev. Kent Hatfield. Interment will follow in the Jena Cemetery just east of Jena under direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.
