Sally Wynell (Dean) Smith, age 87 of Jena, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Friday, November 4, 2022 at her residence.

She was born Tuesday, May 7, 1935, in Jonesboro, Louisiana, to the union of David C. and Grace Wynell (Hanna) Dean.

Mrs. Sally is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Jimmy Carroll Smith, son Timothy Smith, parents, two sisters Genevieve and Lillian, and two brothers Jack and Grady,

Those left to love and miss her are her daughter Teresa Sandifer & husband Joe of Jena, a brother Jimmy Dean & wife Bobbie of Jena, seven grandchildren Rae, Teacy, David, Amanda, Daniel, Christy and Shelly, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens with Rev. Jeff Sandifer officiating. Mrs. Sally will be laid to rest in the Jena Cemetery, under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve the family as Pallbearers are Ty Dean, Tracy Dean, Trevor Dean, Joe Ray Hagen, Jeremy Cox, and Rick Windham. Honorary Pallbearers are David Roark and Dock Kendrick.

In Lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to the Cliff Williams Foundation, Nolley Memorial Methodist Church or to the Charity of your choosing.
