Known for his incredible craftsmanship and dedication to his work in the construction industry, Roy's legacy will forever be remembered by those who knew him.
Throughout his life, Roy possessed a remarkable musical talent, serving as the lead singer of the Southern Gospel Quartet "Glory Road." His passion for music brought joy and inspiration to countless individuals, showcasing both his extraordinary voice and his deep love for the art. Roy was not only known for his musical abilities but also for his even-tempered demeanor, earning him the admiration and respect of friends and family alike.
He proudly served in the National Guard, displaying his commitment and dedication to his country. Roy leaves behind his beloved wife, Oneeda Sanders; his son, David Sanders; his daughter, Wendy Carter; his sister, Judy Pearson; and 2 granddaughters. Each of them carries cherished memories of his kindness, unwavering support, and joyful spirit.
Memorial services will be held to honor Roy's remarkable life and enduring legacy.
