Rosa Lea (Elliott) Cooper Savoie, 82 of Jena, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was born to the union of Lelon "LC" Curtis Elliott and Dollie Caroline (Francis) Elliott on Friday, October 24, 1941, in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana.

Rosa was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend, and Christian role model to many. Throughout her life she was presented with many trials and tribulations- which never wavered her faithful spirit and sculpted her into the strong woman that she was. She was often known for her hamburgers cooked at the old Nebo Store, her countless years as a beautician, and the love she showed to her family. You also never knew where you might see her Grand Marquis traveling on a day-to-day basis in her more recent years. Her smile and spirit leaves an unforgettable legacy of love & grace which will be passed down through many generations to come.

Rosa Lea was preceded in death by her parents, brother Curtis Elliott, sister Emma Faye (Elliott) Kleinpeter, and granddaughter Ashly (Cooper) Knight.

Those left to cherish her memory, love and miss her, daughter Vickey (Cooper) Jackson & husband Larkin, son Doug Cooper & wife Lisa, five (5) grandchildren Becky (Jackson) Estis & husband Jamie, Larkin, Jr.  Jackson & wife Brittany, Alisha Cooper, McKynsli Montpelier & husband Caston, and Kolby Murry, fourteen (14) great grandchildren Maddie Hudnall & husband Austin, Hunter Estis, Hadley Jackson, Hayden Jackson, Heath Jackson, Kaina Smith & fiancé Chaney Wilbanks, Kylie Smith, Kortlyn Sloan, Adalinn Montpelier, Karlee Campbell, Emily Breithaupt, Landry Knight, Kolton Murry, and Shaun Murry, three (3) great-great-grandchildren Emmy Hudnall, Sawyer Hudnall, and Asher Kincaid, and a host of other family and friends.
