Ronald Lynn Roberts, age 69 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Born Saturday, September 25, 1954 in Alexandria, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his parents Percy Roberts, Jr. and Virgie Horn Roberts; siblings, Sonny and Carolyn.

Mr. Roberts was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Winnfield. He retired from Chevron and very much enjoyed fishing. In his younger years he also enjoyed motorcycles and lawnmower racing. He enjoyed sitting on the porch with a good cup of coffee and visiting with his grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Josh Roberts (Elizabeth), Andy Roberts (Brittney) Shelly Boudria (Kelly); grandchildren, Katherine, Jackson, Lincoln, Pierson, Luna, Shiloh, Zoe; two nieces and two nephews; and beloved pet, Juno.The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Southern Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM , and again on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from noon  until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Southern Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Garden of Memories, in Winnfield.
