Mr. Ronald Dale Liles, Sr., 80 of Jena, Louisiana entered the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at his residence in Jena, Louisiana.
He was born on Tuesday, May 23, 1944, in Leesville, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Leo Liles and the late Lizzie Allen Liles.
As he was affectionately known, Ron loved hunting and fishing in his spare time and greatly loved his family. He loved his Lord and was a true servant. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force for 6 years and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Dina Archuleta Liles; parents, Leo and Lizzie Allen Liles; son, Ronald D. Liles, Jr. sisters, Francis Bassett, Catherine Slaydon, Mildred Wisenberger, Helen Haymon, Sudie Rhodes, and Mary Williams.
Those left to love and cherish his memory are sons, Donald R. Hubbard (Shawna) of Kingston, AR, and William J. Hubbard of Winona, TX, daughters, Tonia Williams (Gene) of Jacksonville, FL, and Debra Johnson (Sid) of Converse, LA, brothers, Leo Liles of Anacoco, LA and Dewey Liles (Lecia) of Rosepine, LA., ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10:30 AM until the time of services to be held in the chapel.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 AM on Saturday in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home with the Rev. Johnnie Phillips and Rev. Mike Russell officiating.
Mr. Ron will be laid to rest in the Woodland Cemetery following the service, under the directions of Kinner & Stevens.
Those honored to serve Mr. Ron and the family as pallbearers are Dylan Thompson, Sean Odom, William Joel, Dewayne Liles, Luke Johnson, and Casey Blackmon.
Honorary bearers are Cliff Johnson and the members of VFW.
