Robin Scott Parker, age 58, of Sikes, LA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents Reverend Ezelle and Orelle Rolen Parker; mother-in-law Anne Cox Jacobs; sister Kathy Long; and brothers Larson, Marcus, and Junior Parker.

He is survived by wife Paige Parker, of Sikes, LA; son Dustin Scott Parker (wife Jessica) and grandsons Dakota, Grayson, and Rhett Parker of Winnsboro, LA; daughter Courtney Parker Cromer (husband Walter) of Houston, TX;  father-in-law Thomas Jacobs of Lincoln, MI; brother Troyce Parker and wife Dottie of Sikes, LA; sister-in-law Charlotte Parker; and numerous nephews and nieces. Robin, born March 27, 1963, in Jonesboro, LA, was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.

He loved laughing and spending time outdoors, whether it be tinkering with engines or flower beds, or simply sitting on the porch drinking coffee and watching the birds on his porch. He was an avid hunter and fisher, and loved spending time with his loved ones. Robin had a heart of gold, and his absence will be keenly felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Services will be held Friday, January 21 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield, with Rev. Joel Hines officiating.

Visitation will from 12 noon until 2 PM, with services beginning  at 2 PM.  Interment will be in  Hurricane Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Sikes, LA.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dakota Parker, Jeremy Parker, Zach Parker, Craig Parker, Rodney Parker, and Walter Cromer.
