Reverend Robert Leon "Bob" Tuggle, age 84 of Winnfield, Louisiana, was called home to be with the Lord Friday, December 6, 2024 at Winn Parish Medical Center in Winnfield.  Bob was born  September 6th, 1940 in Dallas Tx to the union of Gordon W. Tuggle and Hazel Culberhouse Tuggle.

Bob grew up in Dallas and was ordained in ministry in 1974 at Central Baptist Church in Mesquite Texas afterwhich he pastored at Midway Baptist Church in Holly Ridge, La.  Later Bob and his loving Wife Gail moved to Winnfield where he pastored Faith Baptist Church for 25 years and then interim pastor of Lakeside Baptist Church.   Bob was an avid golfer, hunter and also enjoyed playing Tennis but more than all of these things he loved being with his family and playing with his Grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents as well as his sisters Betty Mustain and Sandra Sue Tuggle and one brother Gordon Tuggle Jr.

Those left to cherish his memory include his three children David DeWayne Tuggle (Donna), Debra Denise Sweat (Michael), and Greg Johnson (Rhonda); grandchildren Anna, Lydia, Megan, Hunter, Olivia, Fisher, Sumer, and Joshua; 17 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.  He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8th, 2024 at Old Union Cemetery in Joyce with Reverend Jack Miller officiating.  Friends may visit with the family in the Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield on Saturday, December 7th, from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m.

Those serving as pallbearers will be Evan Seiley, Josh Hattaway, Fisher Tuggle, Jimbo Hudson, Ethan Bedgood, and Robert Johns.
