Mr. Richard Bryant Sanders, 70 of Zwolle, Louisiana entered Heaven's Gates on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Maison De Lafayette in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Born Saturday, November 3, 1951 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, he was the husband of Judy Williams Sanders of 50 years. Mr. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was a huge LSU fan. He was a member of Aimwell Baptist Church in Zwolle, Louisiana.

Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by his father, E.B. "Chuck" Sanders.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years Judy Sanders; children, Christina Singleton (Jack), Richard Bryant Sanders, Jr.; grandchildren, Taylor (Ashton), Landon, Kynleigh, Emma, Reece and Crew; one great-grandchild, Magnolia; mother, Margaret "Jane" Sanders; siblings, JoLynn Burns (A.J.), Terry Sanders, David Sanders (Dawn aka Delta), and Madelene Futch (Randall).

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Southern Funeral Home located at 202 E. Lafayette St. Winnfield, Louisiana 71483. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Tullos, LA.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at the funeral home.
