Richard Daniel Faulkner was born on July 21, 1953, to the union of Daniel and Edith Perkins Faulkner. Richard worked in the oilfield as a driller until the late nineties and then he was a welder at Morgan's Pipe and Steel, until his passing on July 5, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepmother Flora Cecile Faulkner, three brothers, John David Faulkner, Robert Faulkner, and Edwin Faulkner.

Richard was survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharlott Wheat Faulkner, two daughters, Summer Faulkner McGuffee and Megan Faulkner Grantham and her husband Jimbo. His grandchildren; Ava, Caleb, and Ella McGuffee, Charli Grantham, Levi McGuffee and his family, and Stephanie McGuffee and her family. One brother, James Faulkner, two sisters Anita Faulkner Cuthrell and Beulah Faulkner Sketo. A host of nieces and nephews and a very close nephew, Brandon Faulkner, and many other family and friends.

Richard was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He loved gardening, mechanics, and welding and he will be missed by many.

Visitation will be Friday evening at 5 PM, on July 07, 2023, at Pritchard Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be Saturday morning at 10 AM, on July 08, 2023, also at Pritchard Baptist Church. Following the service, Mr. Richard will be laid to rest in the Pritchard Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Bro. Dominick DiCarlo, those honored to serve as pallbearers are; Jimbo Grantham, Brandon Faulkner, Jackie Morris, Mark Windham, Lee Bradford, Daniel 'DAC' Cuthrell. Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home will direct the services.
