Rhonda Kay Mitchell Revier, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. She was 60 years old.

Born on October 11, 1964, in Pineville, Louisiana, Rhonda was a longtime resident of Kountze, Texas. Known for her warm spirit and generous heart, she spent her career as a dedicated hairstylist, retiring after years of service that brought joy and confidence to those she served.

Rhonda lived life fully and with enthusiasm. She loved to dance, fish, travel, and cook—activities she often enjoyed surrounded by her cherished family. Her greatest joy, however, came from the time she spent with her grandchildren, whose lives were richly blessed by her love and laughter.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Revier of Kountze, Texas; her children: Zachary Revier and wife Natasha of Port Neches, Michael Fielder and wife Traci of Lumberton, Shane Fielder and wife Shauni of Thibodaux, Kayla Fielder of Lumberton, and Emily Clark-Lankford of New Waverly; her sister, Lisa DuBois and husband Harlan of Winnfield, Louisiana; and her mother-in-law, Anne Dodds of South Dakota.

She was the proud grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind ten beloved nieces and nephews.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her mother, Delia Thompson; her father, L.G. Thompson; her father-in-law, Bill Revier; her sisters, Robbie Youngblood and Trudy Burkes; and her brother-in-law, Ray Revier.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at Summerfield Baptist Church near Colfax, Louisiana, with Rev. Jeremy Brister officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Friends may visit with the family at the church on Sunday, April 27, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services on Monday.
