Patricia Freeman McElligott passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024.  She was 73 years old. Patricia was an avid reader, especially the Bible, which she read many times. She had a passion for cooking and she was also a good singer. One of Patricia's favorite pastimes was painting beautiful pictures.

Patricia is survived by her 2 daughters, Dr. Cindy Odenbaugh Choate (husband, Wesley) and Dr. Dana Odenbaugh Kornreich (husband, Craig); grandchildren, Amber Scott, Breyden Marcantel, Cadence Choate, Ellen-Mae Choate, Colin Kornreich and Conner Kornreich; siblings Linda Williams, Annette Garrett, and Stanley Freeman; 11 nieces and nephews, Loretta, Glora, Kenny, David, Randy, Mark, Sherman, Dylan, Stan, Chad, and Nathan; and numerous grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dan McElligott; father, Armo Freeman; mother, Essie (Fowler) Freeman; sister, Peggy Weeks; and niece, Angie Smith.

A private graveside service, under the direction of Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home, was held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery near Weston, Louisiana.  Bro. David Walsworth was the officiant.
