Pamela Copeland Harvey, age 65, passed away on March 21,2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever be cherished by her family and friends. Born to Preston and Laverne Copeland on June 24,1958, in Winnfield, Louisiana, Pam dedicated her life to serving others.

After graduating from Louisiana Tech University, Pam embarked on a fulfilling career in the medical field, where her passion for helping people shone brightly. She was a devoted wife of 42 years to her beloved husband, Wayne Harvey, and a loving mother to her children, Lindsey Dunlop and Nathan Harvey. Pam found immense joy in her role as a grandmother to Preston, Cason, and Travis.

Pam had a deep love for reading and could often be found immersed in a book, surrounded by the warmth of her home.
She had a remarkable ability to see the good in everyone she met and her infectious warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.

A dedicated member of Cypress Creek Baptist Church, Pam served in various capacities, finding solace and community within its walls. Her unwavering faith brought her comfort and strength throughout her life.

Pam is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, brother Steve Copeland, brother-in-law Troy Harvey, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gary Copeland, and her beloved nephew Kris Copeland.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Southern Funeral Home, from 10:00 AM until 1:30 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Cypress Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jessie Henderson and Dr. Terry Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Cypress Creek Cemetery, in Dodson.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Dr. Terry Jones, Danny Jones, Larry Jones, Troy Harvey, Greg Wiggins, and John Wayne Fitzpatrick.
