Mrs. Ora Jean Lucky, a beloved member of the Winnfield community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on Sunday, November 3, 1940, in Paragould, Arkansas. Ora Jean lived a full and blessed life, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Ora Jean was a devoted member of the East Winnfield Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Grace Sunday School class. Her deep faith and love for her church community were evident in her dedication and service. Ora Jean's greatest joys in life were her family and traveling with her late husband, Billy Gene Lucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Lucky; her granddaughter, Brittany Cummings; her son, Billy Edward Lucky; her sister, Doris Martin; her brother, Willie Glen Emmett; her father, William Edward Emmett; and her mother, Bashie Elaine Blake.

Ora Jean is survived by her loving daughter, Ginger Cummings, and her husband, Cody; her grandsons, James Cody Cummings, Jr. and his wife, Tina, and Blake Cummings and his wife, Caitlin; and her great-grandson, Toliver James Cummings. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at Yankee Springs Cemetery on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 9:00 AM, with Rev. Jeff Shows officiating. Ora Jean will be laid to rest at Yankee Springs Cemetery, where she will be reunited with her loved ones.
