Mr. Norman DeWitt Barton, age 82 of Winnfield, Louisiana went peacefully to his Heavenly home on Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Born Monday, May 27, 1940 in Atlanta, Lousiana, he was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Keith Barton and Clarence Barton; son, LaVaughn Barton; and daughter, Tammi Barton; siblings, LaVaughn, Clarence, Merle, Larry, Jack Russell, and Lonnette Barton.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Billie Finn Barton; daughters, Susan Jordan and Anita Williams (Cody); step-daughters, Denise Tipton and Janice Trammel; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Southern Funeral Home, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Jason Statham, Gage Statham, Cody Williams, Clay Statham, Blake Carter, and Hector Dela-Fuente.
