Nancy Ann (Melendez) Watkins, age 61 of Weston, was called to her Heavenly home on Monday, November 18, 2024.  She was born on December 15, 1962 in Los Angeles, California and later moved to Jackson Parish, Louisiana and made it her home.  She loved to travel and she was an animal lover.  Nancy was a free spirit with a sweet soul.  If you knew her then you loved her and she was loved by her many friends and family alike.  She was a very loving and caring person to everyone she met.  Nancy was a wonder wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and she will be very missed.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son, Bruce Ulloa (Emily Welch), grandchildren, Avery Welch, Milayna Ulloa, Audry Welch, Pierce Ulloa, Trey Trosclair, Georgia Ulloa, Paisley Ulloa, Dyllan Ulloa; great grandchildren, Addie Russell, Maddox Russell; sisters, Frances Tsangars (Lakis), Susan Melendez (Ali); close friends, Tina, Deedra, Lola, Susie and Blonka.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Watkins; parents, Alonzo and Della (Verella) Melendez; brother, Kevin Melendez.

Her family will plan a memorial at a later date.
