Nadine Marie Sharbono Yelverton, age 75, of Atlanta, LA, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Winn Nursing And Rehabilitation Center in Winnfield. She was born on Friday, August 20, 1948, to the late Clifford Jackson Sharbono and Vivian Marie Sharbono in Winnfield, Louisiana. Mrs. Yelverton's passions included fishing, cultivating flowers, crocheting, and, above all, creating cherished memories with her beloved grandchildren.  Mrs. Yelverton was a dedicated member of the Beulah Baptist Church, where her faith played a central role in shaping her life.

Nadine is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Jackson Sharbono, mother, Vivian Marie Sharbono, brother, Bobby Sharbono, and her first husband, Carroll Funk, Sr.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Bobby Yelverton of Atlanta, Louisiana, and leaves behind a legacy that will be treasured by her children, Sheila Hattaway (Randy), Sandy Coleman, and Carroll Funk Jr. Her grandchildren - Brittany, Amy, Clayton, Zachary, Dustin, Tyler, Tracy, and Selena - will carry forward the love she showered upon them. Additionally, she is survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and her siblings, Pat Ferguson and Clifford Sharbono.

The pallbearers for Nadine's final journey include David James, Craig Ingles, Clay Ingles, Ricky Waller, Thomas Horn, and Brandon Hattaway.

A funeral service in remembrance of Nadine will be held at the Southern Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM. The service will be officiated by Rev. Lamar Carpenter and Randy Tyler, concluding with Nadine's interment at Big Creek Cemetery in Pollock, Louisiana.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and also on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
