Mr. Monroe Wilton Jones, Jr., age 67 of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.

Born Wednesday, July 29, 1953 in Grant Parish, Louisiana, he was retired from the construction and logging industries and was an animal lover and gardener.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe Wilton Jones, Sr. and Thelma Bryant Jones; sister, Linda Lou Jones.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Lula Jones; children, Willie Jones (Crystal) and Matthew Jones; grandchildren, Kayliegh and Brandon; siblings, Hope, Glenda, Rena, Raynell, Derek, Casey, Tony and John.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
