Michael Shane Robbins, age 38 of Jena, Louisiana passed from this life on Monday, May 29, 2023. He was greeted by his loving grandparents.

Shane was born on Friday, December 7, 1984, in Alexandria, Louisiana.  He provided for his family in the oil industry as a Directional Driller.

Those left to love and miss him are his father, Mike Robbins & wife Deffinee, of Jena, mother Patty Elaine Campbell, of Lafayette, a daughter Anahlise Robbins, two sons Brody Robbins, and Kato Cassard all of Jena, three sisters Lacy McGuffee & husband Kyle, Hunter Guidry, and Chanler Guidry, five brothers Drake Guidry, Caleb LeFebvre & wife Danyelle, Austin LeFebvre, Brandon LeFebvre, and Jaccob Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 1, 2023, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens with Rev. Ken Hatfield officiating. Shane will be laid to rest in the Woodland Cemetery East of Jena on Hwy. 84 under the directions of Kinner & Stevens.

Those honored to serve Shane and his family as pallbearers are Caleb LeFebvre, Austin LeFebvre, Brandon LeFebvre, Jaccob Jackson, Cody King and Kyle McGuffee.  Honorary pallbearer is Drake Guidry.
