Michael Jerry Edmonds, age 54 of Jonesboro, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

Born Thursday, December 18, 1969 in Winnfield, Louisiana, he was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Edmonds.

Michael spent his working career in road construction. He very much loved all of his family, and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also had a love for mechanics as he enjoyed working on his car. He had a gentle heart that was huge with love for everyone he met.

Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Barbara Folden Edmonds Haworth; children, Michael Edward Edmonds, James Edmonds, Cody Edmonds (Amber), Nathan Edmonds; siblings, Sandy J Edmonds, Tracy Edmonds; his step-father, Ronnie Haworth; five grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Edmonds will be held on Monday, January 29,2024 at Siloam Springs Community Church in Wyatt, Louisiana at 2:00PM. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00PM until time of services. Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes of Winnfield.
