Mr. Michael Lenard Bruce, 64 of Georgetown, Louisiana passed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2023, at his residence in Georgetown, Louisiana surrounded by family and friends.

Born Sunday, July 5,1959 in Urania, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Richard and Kathleen Earl Wilson Bruce. He was the husband of Pamela Dauzat Bruce. Mike spent much of his working career as a machinist and was employed with H&E Machine Shop in Winnfield, Louisiana the last six and a half years of his working career. He retired in May of 2023. He spent his free time with his much- loved family and friends and certainly enjoyed hitting his favorite fishing spots.

He was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Kathleen Earl Bruce; one sister, Lori Ann Bruce; and their beloved pet, Dolly.

Those left to love and cherish his memory are his wife, Pamela Renee Dauzat Bruce of Georgetown; siblings, Teresa Lynn Grice (Ricky Jim), Rhonda Renee Richardson, Richard Mark Bruce (Carrie), all of Georgetown, Louisiana.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, October 23, 2023, at Southern Funeral Home, 202 E. Lafayette St., Winnfield, Louisiana.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Georgetown Cemetery with the Ethan Terral officiating. Interment will be in Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, Louisiana under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes, Winnfield.

Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are Mark Bruce, Bailey Terral, Timmy Grice, Carl Bruce, Josh Browning, Cody Compton, Willie Neil, and Trey Morgan.

Serving as Honorary Pallbearers for the family are Will Bruce, Hunter Hailey, Chase Hailey, Chance Grice, Lane Grice, Cody Grice, Ricky Jim Grice, Joey Madere, Chris Maloy, and David Scott.
