Born Tuesday, April 6, 1948 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, he was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was retired from Daily Express, Inc. as a heavy haul truck driver. Mr. French was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Memory Hollon French, Sr. and Edith Reed French; step-brother, Hubert Maloy.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Deborah Prongay French; children, Linda, Michelle, Memory, III and Clifton; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Glenn Hutchinson, Ellsworth Hutchinson, Kathleen Reiner and Laura Papadopoulos; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Old Union Cemetery in Joyce with Rev. Jack Miller officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with the Rosary beginning at 5pm.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Chip Curry, Phillip Worsham, Jake Ingles, Jason Williams, Jerry Miller and Mike Maloy. Honorary pallbearers will be Will Breshers, Dino Breshers, Mike Ingles Billy Williams and Hary McDonald.
