Maxine (Russell) Cooper, 84 of the Rogers Community, Louisiana received her Heavenly reward on Tuesday, April 26, 2022.

She was born to the union of Charles Boatner and Lona Mae (Duke) Russell on Friday, July 16, 1937 in Rogers Community, Louisiana.

Mrs. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 63 years Donald Raymond Cooper, Sr.

Those left to love and miss her, daughter LaDawn Cooper Edwards & husband Eugene, of Jena, a son Donald "Donnie" Raymond Cooper, Jr. & wife Renee, of Jena, brother Wayne Russell & wife Wilma, Monterey, three grandchildren Stephanie (Cooper) McDowell, Kayla Cooper and Landon Edwards, three great grandsons Dylan McDowell, Dawson McDowell and Daylen Husbands.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 27, 2022, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 28, 2022 in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, with Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Mrs. Maxine will be laid to rest in the will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, in Rogers Community following the service in the directions of Kinner & Stevens.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Dylan McDowell, Dawson McDowell, Daylen Husbands, Ricky Haggart, Landon Edwards, Eugene Edwards.
