Mrs. Mary Alice Martin McBride, age 82 of Brewton's Mill, Louisiana passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021.

Born Monday, February 20, 1939 in Winnfield, Louisiana, she was preceded in death by her husband, James McBride; parents, J. K. and Aline Kelley Martin; daughter, Alicia Kim Kieffer; brothers, Jimmy Martin and Johnny Martin; niece, Autumn Henderson.

Mrs. McBride was a member of the Antioch Community Church where she and her late husband, James were dedicated church members. She was a devoted homemaker and loved spending time in the kitchen preparing delicious meals. One of her favorite past times was sitting in her recliner watching sports with James. She truly loved God, her family and her community where she resided all of her life.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Karla Campbell; grandchildren, Brent Carpenter (Jennifer), Brooke Womack (Stuart), Martin Shaw, Zachary Kieffer (Chrystal); great-grandchildren, Brenton Carpenter, Kylie Shaw, Grayson Womack, Calop Carpenter and Kash Kieffer; sisters, Judy Thomason (Randy), Janet Wyatt (Daniel).

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Antioch Community Church with Rev. Howard Hossler and Rev. Lamar Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Community Cemetery, in Brewton's Mill under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

The family will receive friends at Southern Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Thursday at the church from 11:00 AM until time of services.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Kyle Martin, Kelley Martin, Daniel Wyatt, Shaun James, Richard Kelley and Brenton Carpenter.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and Antioch Community Church.
