Ms. Martha N Moody of Goldonna, Louisiana passed from this life on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at Autumn Leaves Nursing Home in Winnfield. She was born to the union of John Eulas and Helen Marie Malone Dryden in Ball, Louisiana on March 16, 1936. She spent her working as a CNA in the medical field. In her spare time she enjoyed her flowers, gardening, and working with ceramics.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dwight L. Moody, Sr.; her parents, John Eulas and Helen Marie Malone Dryden; and four siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Melody Hasley of Goldonna, Debbie Moody of Shreveport, Kathy Allen of Goldonna, Dwight L. Moody, Jr. of Goldonna; her grandchildren, Dwayne Hasley, Melanie Morgan, Johnny Hasley, Alanda Jackson, Jeffery Council, Kathryn Griffin, Tina Williams, Sarah Hickman, Nancy Hayes; fourteen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday March 23, 2026 at Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield from 10:00AM until 12:30PM. Graveside Services will be held immediately following visitation with Rev. Tim Harris officiating at Clear Lake Cemetery.

Those honored to serve the family as pallbearers are Junior Brown, Jeffery Council, Nick Griffin, Nathan Hasley, Johnny Hasley, and Dewayne Hasley.
