Marolyn Marie (Comeaux) Chapman, age 79 of the Belah Community, Louisiana was received into Heaven on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

She was born on Wednesday, June 13, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Marolyn was preceded in death by her husband Thomas C. Chapman of 40 years, and her parents Lloyd Joseph Comeaux and Francis Auline (Lofton) Comeaux.

Those left to love and cherish her memory are her son Lloyd Trisler & wife Donna, of Sandy Lake, two daughters Christie Greer & husband Jimmy of Jena, and Lisa Trisler of the Belah Community,  five grandchildren Caleb Trisler, Ethan Trisler & wife Liz, Macy (Greer) Floyd & husband Braden, Caidon Morace, and Aubree Cockerham, three great-grandchildren Caroline Trisler, Catherine Trisler, and Bryson Floyd, and a host of step-children, step-grandchildren and step-great great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Fellowship Baptist Church, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Fellowship Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Swain and Bro. Jimmy Greer officiating. Marolyn will be laid to rest following the service in the Woodland Cemetery, in Jena under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home.

Those honored to serve Marolyn and her family as pallbearers are Jimmy Greer, Caidon Morace, Mickey Cockerham, Allan Windham, James Smith, and Chance Cockerham. The Honorary pallbearer will be John Greer.
