Mr. Mark Martinez, 41, of Joyce, LA, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, in Joyce, LA. Mark was born on March 14, 1983, in Galveston, TX, to his loving parents, Rodolfo G. Martinez and the late Elvira Juarez.

Mark was a loving father, son, and brother with a heart as big as his laughter. He found joy in making others smile and cherished spending time with his family. Mark was known for his hard work ethic and dedication to providing for his loved ones.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his father, Rodolfo G. Martinez; his children, Kaitlyn, Addyson, and Ellie Martinez, as well as Hayden and Haleigh Sweat; and his siblings, Angel Martinez (Kelly), Patty Martinez, and Danny Martinez. He will also be dearly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Mark's memory will be honored and celebrated at Southern Funeral Home, where friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the public visitation on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:40 PM.

Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Billy Ver Hoef officiating.
